Case Studies
Case 1 Employees laptop was submitted to Datadigger, which to all knowledge was clean and verified by the firms IT expert. Datadiggers analysis revealed thousands of pages of MSN chat, which highlighted considerable wrong doing by the employee. The extent of what was discovered came as a massive shock to the employer and was so detrimental to the company that legal advice had to be sought. In addition Datadigger uncovered several inappropriate images and evidence that the employee had been spending hours online shopping during work time.
Case 2 Client lost all of his data on his laptop, which included irreplaceable photographs. He had already visited a large high street computer company and paid quite a significant amount, with no success. The company stated their next level of service to do the recovery was £700, at which point the client came to Datadigger. Datadigger recovered all of the lost data within a day, saving the client hundreds of pounds.
Case 3 An unusual case, where it was necessary to identify a person and also a location. With careful, detailed investigation and analysis Datadiger identified the individual, identified a location in the Philippines, identified the hotel the individual stayed in and then to finish the job identifed the hotel room the individual had booked. All this information was determined by computer investigation only and brought what could have been a very time consuming enquiry to a swift and successful conclusion.
